VELAMMAL’S YOUNG SCIENTIST HONOURED BY GOVERNOR OF TAMILNADU

Master K Rudhayan, class 9 of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus, was awarded ‘the promising project’ for his project in the 27th National Children’s Science Congress, held at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, organised by NCSTC, Government of India.

His project titled ‘Light weight paper by Nano Technology’ was certified Grade A+ and was the only one selected from Tamilnadu.

Considering his remarkable achievement Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, Shri Banwarilal Purohit honoured and blessed him at Raj Bhavan on 03.03.2020.
19 projects from the junior and senior categories were selected at the national level conference where 658 delegates from different states attended the project on the theme ‘Science Technology and Innovation for a clean, green and healthy nation.’

The School Management congratulates his magnanimous achievement and appreciates his scientific approach in the project.
